Official Launch of GC Sahakom RongRoeurng (GCSR)
On 27th September 2023, GC Life officially launched its new corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative, GC Sahakom RongRoeurng (GCSR).
GC Life is very honored and thankful for the presence of Mr. Touch Mengleng, Director of the Market Development Department of the Insurance Regulator of Cambodia, high representative of H.E. Bou Chanphirou, Director General of the Insurance Regulator of Cambodia, H.E. Dr. Chiv Ratha, Deputy Secretary General of the Secretariat General – National Council for Youth Development, Mr. Huy Vatharo, Chairman of the Insurance Association of Cambodia and all distinguished guests.
GCSR was initiated by GC Life with the main objective of making a positive impact on society and the communities it serves by organizing activities focusing on education, environment, health, and financial literacy. To carry out these activities, GC Life invested in a mobile bus that will travel throughout Cambodia. This demonstrates the company’s continued commitment to Cambodia by being the first insurance company to launch a mobile bus initiative.
The mobile bus has been modernly designed and equipped with the tools that will enable the company to carry out various activities more effectively. In the first phase, GC Life will focus on seven provinces including Kampot, Kep, Sihanoukville, Kampong Cham, Tbong Khmum, Kratie and Mondulkiri. In the second and third phases, GC Life will eventually reach all provinces in Cambodia.
