Position Title: Senior Executive, Procurement
Department: Accounting & Finance
Function: Financial Planning & Analysis
Location: Phnom Penh
Job Purpose
The Senior Executive, Procurement is primarily responsible for the management of all procurement activities of the Company from the procurement requisition to delivery of goods/services. The Senior Executive, Procurement will be reporting directly to Head of Department.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct training session to users in relation to the procurement policies, workflow and requirements
- Review on Procurement Requisition form submitted by users, assist in procurement by seeking quotations and support users on placing order and requesting for proper invoices
- Ensure users comply with the Company’s procurement policy and procedures
- Propose and arrange for agreements with suppliers and service providers
- Take lead on price negotiation, request of credit term, and enter into contract where necessary
- Responsible as the contact point to handle all key issues with suppliers, service providers, and relevant authorities
- Monitor and notify relevant stakeholders on the expired/to-be expired contracts
- Assist the selection of appropriate suppliers, contractors, and promote good procurement practice
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations of procurement
- Communicate and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders as appropriate in professional and timely manner
- Identify cost reduction/saving opportunities where possible
- Other administrative and necessary tasks assigned by the management
Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, or an equivalent field that is relevant to negotiation and communication skills
- A minimum of 2 years working in procurement, or supply chain management, or other related fields
- Demonstrated experience in procurement operations, project administration and follow-up, and contract management
- Proficient in Khmer and English (Reading/Writing/Speaking)
