Assistant Manager, Internal Audit

Position Title: Assistant Manager, Internal Audit Department: Audit Committee
Function: Audit Committee
Location: Phnom Penh

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Evaluate financial documents for accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations;
  • Establish, design, and develop the company’s internal controls over financial reporting; compliance and business operations;
  • Identify the financial risk of the company and offer recommendations to reduce risks;
  • Challenge current processes across the company and identify opportunities for refinement;
  • Play an active role in the maintenance and review of the company’s policies and procedures; ensuring they are up to date with all regulations and best practices of the industry;
  • Assess the efficiency and productivity of internal staff and departments and make; recommendations for improvement;
  • Conduct follow up audits to monitor enhancements in processes;
  • Maintain open communication with management and the audit committee and present findings in the form of reports and presentations;
  • Review insurance claim and complaints to ensure its compliance with the relevant laws and regulations; and
  • Other tasks as assigned by the management.


  • At least 4 years’ experience in a similar role;
  • A degree in business, accounting, finance or equivalent;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Khmer;
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks while adhering to deadlines;
  • Good in MS Office (including Word, Excel and Outlook);
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Strong organizational skills and takes initiative;
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
