Position Title: Assistant Manager, Internal Audit Department: Audit Committee
Function: Audit Committee
Location: Phnom Penh
Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate financial documents for accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations;
- Establish, design, and develop the company’s internal controls over financial reporting; compliance and business operations;
- Identify the financial risk of the company and offer recommendations to reduce risks;
- Challenge current processes across the company and identify opportunities for refinement;
- Play an active role in the maintenance and review of the company’s policies and procedures; ensuring they are up to date with all regulations and best practices of the industry;
- Assess the efficiency and productivity of internal staff and departments and make; recommendations for improvement;
- Conduct follow up audits to monitor enhancements in processes;
- Maintain open communication with management and the audit committee and present findings in the form of reports and presentations;
- Review insurance claim and complaints to ensure its compliance with the relevant laws and regulations; and
- Other tasks as assigned by the management.
Requirements
- At least 4 years’ experience in a similar role;
- A degree in business, accounting, finance or equivalent;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Khmer;
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks while adhering to deadlines;
- Good in MS Office (including Word, Excel and Outlook);
- Strong attention to detail;
- Strong organizational skills and takes initiative;
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
