Job Purpose
A trainer in the Training and Development Function to achieve the set Key Performance Indicators and support Sales Development Channels:
- Training and Development for Agency, Partnership, and other cross-functional related departments.
- To build a skilled and motivated sales force capable of effectively recruiting, promoting, and selling life insurance products for the distribution channel.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Designing and developing training programs tailored to the needs of the sales force.
- Training sales staff, agents, insurance advisors, and business partners to have a deep understanding of the company’s products and services.
- Training effective sales techniques, such as prospecting, presentation, role-play, objection handling, and closing strategies.
- Identifying and nurturing leadership potential within the sales force through targeted training and mentorship programs; i.e. agency building and recruitment, leadership and management, and Performance Management.
- Boosting morale and motivation through inspiration training sessions and recognition program
- Training and facilitating onboarding programs for new agents and leaders to ensure they are quickly integrated into Sales Team and Sales Force.
- Maintaining records for training activities and preparing reports on the effectiveness of training program, sales coaching sessions etc.
- Any other tasks assigned by line manager as and when is necessary.
Requirement
- Minimum Degree and preferably in Education, English, Law, Marketing, Economics, Business Administration, Insurance, Management or other related field in finance industry from any reputable institution.
- A sound communication skill which ensures the effectiveness to convey instructions to subordinates.
- Great critical-thinking skills to identify the training needs of the business aligned with the available resources.
- A reasonable decision-making skill
- Good interpersonal skills which enable the workplace with collaboration, care and understanding.
- Practical leadership skills on training, coaching, motivating, and counselling to staff and agencies
- Meet all the deadlines and requirements of individual/ team assignments and projects
- Be able to work independently with minimal guidance
- Be able to work effectively with other stakeholders or team member with highly professional integrity
- Be strong in planning and execution by developing and consolidating the weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual training plan and calendar for all training programs.
- Monitor progress and results of implemented training programs and continuously improve on their quality and responsiveness to the needs of sales forces.
